still playing the computer in the library thing, which is highly annoying. just been too damn busy to worry about getting my computer fixed. and well, I can't really find my computer on my desk underneath all of my papers and stuff. I'm a little bit of a pack rat. bleah.

So yea, whats been keeping this chick busy.....ummmm, work of course. Nothing to report of any consequence from there. Its boring, I want out and surely will be leaving after I suck them of all my vacation time in july :)

If anyone caught it in the news, the old Katherine Beich candy factory burned to the ground a couple days ago. I wandered to the fire after I got off work out of sheer facination with fires, and of course to see the redneck jamboree of people "gawkin' at the powerful hot fire" But really it was a beautiful fire, if thats allowed to be said. I could really enjoy watching because no one was hurt, it was an empty building, no one lost their house. What a monster, let me tell ya. I sorta got lost watching the flames and smoke rise. I was only like 100 yds away and the heat was intense. Luckily since the firefighters knew they couldn't claim the fire but just control it, they were quite jovial around my area. The guys who were resting were playing in the big river of water coming from the hoses north of us with some little kids. I wish I had had a camera to capture it all. At least go to the pantagraph website and see if today's pictures are posted. There was a beautiful picture of the sun setting behind this smoldering building. I know it sounds kinda weird, but it looked like this bombed out building from some sort of armegeddon scene. Kinda creepy.

I've also just recently become a Harry Potter book fanatic. I had only seen the first 3 movies and didn't realize how GOOD the books are. Needless to say, I just finished reading the 4th book yesterday and am checking out the 5th one today. I'm only worried that this upcoming movie will try to cram everything in or leave out some really good parts of the book. *sigh* such is the book-to-movie biz.

I hope that everyone is doing well, I know I've been a stranger of late. Sometimes it gets rather lonely here in bloomington but then again I know where everyone else is, well kinda, I think we all run around like little banshees and we all can't keep up with one another. ahh well, I hope everyone takes care and has a wonderful and SAFE holiday weekend. I know I'll be WORKING bleah! MIss you all
